About Elaine:

Elaine Koyama, co-founder, CEO and General Manager of Interlinx Associates, LLC, brings over 20 years of professional management and field experience in the areas of sales, sales and marketing management, business planning and performance improvement. Elaine is known for her facilitation skills and working to “get things done!”

Elaine began her career selling hog feed door to door in northern Iowa. If that wasn’t enough to send her back to academia, she moved on to source ingredients for a feed plant, and then to sell industrial and agricultural salt products. This early field experience served her well as a product manager, marketing manager and sales manager for Cargill, Inc., one of the largest privately held companies in the world.

Practical application of processes and systems has been Elaine’s strength. She earned her MBA at night and applied textbook theory directly to business applications; Elaine has contributed by introducing new ways to established processes. As a product and marketing manager, she worked closely with R&D to develop, reposition and brand products in both retail and industrial markets. As a sales manager, Elaine managed sales people, distributor, broker and manufacturer’s rep networks. And it was in her role as sales manager that she recognized the value of personality type and relationship management, an interest that continues today through her work in the CRM space.

In addition to general management responsibilities at Interlinx, you will find Elaine actively involved in facilitating requirements dialogues, training through Guided Discovery and facilitating client Strategic Reviews. Elaine is a CRM consultant, trainer and administrator who has walked in the shoes of the salesperson and is a user of CRM.

Growing up on a sheep, sugar beet and wheat farm in Montana shaped Elaine’s continuing interest in agriculture and the West. She received her undergraduate degree from Stanford University and her MBA from the Carlson School of Management.

Elaine was an adjunct faculty member at the University of St. Thomas Graduate School of Business, where she taught advanced level marketing. She volunteered for the Minnesota 4-H Foundation and was instrumental in developing a rural to urban transitional plan for Minnesota 4-H. When she isn’t working at Interlinx, you can find Elaine at the tennis courts or on the slopes, where she works part time as a professional ski & snowboard instructor.

Travel arrangements are NOT included in the conference fee.

All attendees MUST book their cruise arrangements through A & S Travel Center Headquarters (ask for Eric or Diana). or (203) 265-9293.

They have secured special rates for the cruise. Some upgrade cabins are available. After registering for the CRM Cruise, they will contact you to finalize your cruise arrangements.

Hotel & Air Information  
Airfare, hotel reservations, and/or upgrade cabins will be arranged by attendees (you). If you need help, ask A & S Travel Center for details.

The CRM Conference and Cruise is a marketing effort of Gold Coast Advisors, Inc. It is not a legal entity or partnership. Any agreements for services will be executed by Gold Coast Advisors, Inc. and will solely govern any agreement.

Cancellation Policy  
Conference refund policy is 100% refund,  less $30 processing fee, if greater than 30 days. If less than or equal to 30 days, you get a 100% credit towards a future CRM Conference Fee. There are additional potential cancellation fees for the cruise, air, and hotel.   Ask A & S Travel Center for details.
